1. SystemeIO

SystemeIO

Every aspect of your digital marketing strategy may be addressed with a tool. Email marketing software, website builders, landing page builders, podcast hosting, keyword rank tracking, webinar software, and so much more are all available through these tools.

According to the Technology Industry Trend Report, most organizations utilize an average of 175 different tools and applications on a daily basis.

Thankfully, there are systems like Systeme.io, which is a single platform with a suite of tools that allows you to create sales funnels, manage affiliate networks, automate various aspects of your marketing plan, and much more.

When I initially heard about Systeme.io, I was unsure how well it would operate, and I assumed it would be expensive given its features.

But after a short time, I discovered a reliable solution that saves me money and time by allowing me to choose between a variety of tools, applications, plugins, and other software.

Is it, however, the ideal all-in-one platform for internet marketers and businesses? To learn more, see my Systeme.io review below.

What is Systeme.io?

Systeme.io

Systeme.io is a one-stop shop for everything you'll need to run a successful internet business. It's a complete marketing platform developed by Aurelien Amacker, a computer specialist who began his career as a consultant and went on to establish a highly successful online coaching firm.

He became tired of having to deal with dozens of various programs while working on his customers' blogs, so he decided to build his own platform that would handle all of the other operations without having to go from one tool to the next.

Systeme.io has evolved to become a major hit with thousands of consumers in different nations across the world since its start in France in 2010.

Please continue reading our Systeme.io review to learn everything you need to know about the platform's features, functioning, advantages and disadvantages, cost, and support. Alternatively, you may watch the video below.

Is Systeme.io a Good Investment?

For most people who are just starting to start online, the most difficult part is figuring out how many tools are necessary to run a successful internet business.

Even if they have a good grasp of all the many programs and software that are necessary, many people don't have the time or bandwidth to figure out how to get the most out of each of them separately.

They end up paying for a lot of things they'll never use because they lack the necessary technical expertise and background, and they end up with disappointing outcomes, which leads to dissatisfaction.

That's why a tool like Systeme.io is so valuable.

It eliminates the need for you to learn (and pay for) several platforms by providing all of the features you want in one location.

A sales funnel builder, an email campaign manager, the ability to establish and implement your own affiliate program and marketing strategy, setting marketing automation rules across your digital marketing platforms, and much more are just a few of the System.io capabilities.

The ability to handle everything from a single interface eliminates most of the learning curve, making it ideal for newcomers.

Furthermore, because you receive everything for a fraction of the amount you'd pay for the tools separately, Systeme.io is unquestionably worthwhile for anyone trying to manage a successful internet business without breaking the bank.

2. GetResponse

GetResponse

GetResponse bills itself as a one-stop shop for generating leads, increasing sales, and building your own landing pages and funnels.

This program, which has a Capterra rating of 4.1/5, began as an email marketing platform and just recently incorporated functionality for building sales funnels.

Let's have a look at what this tool can do.

GetResponse’s features

GetResponse has only recently debuted its conversion funnel capabilities, and as far as funnel software goes, it's still a relative newcomer.

These funnels are meant to mix conventional funnel functionality such as autoresponders and page builders with new funnel features.

You can create landing pages, list-building funnels, and webinar funnels, and it streamlines the procedures and allows you to manage them all in one spot.

Depending on the following factors, you can design a full or rapid funnel:

1.  Your email marketing strategy

2.  If you want to build an email list first

3.  Whether you want to send your leads straight to your sales pages

The features of the sales funnel are extremely extensive, and they include tools to nurture your leads at every level of the sales funnel, such as:
  • Paid ads to get traffic
  • Abandoned cart emails
  • Automated order emails
GetResponse also includes the following functionalities in addition to its sales funnel capabilities:
  • Email marketing automation
  • A landing page builder
  • Web push notifications
  • Live chat features
GetResponse's funnel builder software is geared toward small businesses looking to launch an online store, but larger enterprises will be disappointed.

GetResponse's dashboard has become congested as a result of the conversion funnel function, making it difficult to discover what you're searching for.

GetResponse’s pricing

GetResponse Pricing

GetResponse's cost is quite low when compared to other sales funnel solutions, however, it increases as your business grows:

The "cheap and economical" $15/month Basic plan may cost up to $450/month if you have 100,000 contacts - not ideal.

Even if you spend hundreds of dollars for the Basic plan, you'll only be able to create one landing page and there will be no marketing automation.

We don't believe in having you pay for the success of your company at systeme.io.

While GetResponse, like systeme.io, offers a free plan for life, it only allows you to manage 500 contacts.

If you wish to test out any of their premium programs, they also offer a 30-day free trial (no credit card details required).

If you pick a 24-month paying period, you may save up to 30% on your membership expenses, or 18% if you choose an annual subscription.

This funnel software is for larger enterprises, not startups, due to the pricey sliding scale subscription strategy and GetResponse's limitations on the free option.

3. AWeber

aweberWhat is AWeber?

AWeber is the industry leader in email marketing software for small businesses. AWeber was founded in 1998 and has helped over one million clients across the world dependably connect with their prospects and customers using amazingly easy email marketing software for over 20 years. AWeber provides the ability to swiftly construct responsive landing sites, load and manage contacts, send stunning emails, send fast push alerts, and evaluate outcomes without needing to be a computer wiz. AWeber collaborates with over 1,000 software partners, allowing clients to effortlessly integrate with the tools and services they need to run and develop their businesses. AWeber is a privately held firm based in Chalfont, Pennsylvania.

Aweber Pros and Cons

Pros

  • You may create an infinite number of landing pages with the Free plan.
  • There are over 600 email templates to choose from. You may also use the Smart Designer to create your own from your website URL.
  • An international phone help desk and live chat assistance are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (on free plans too).
  • In minutes, you can create emails and landing pages using a simple drag-and-drop editor.
  • There are over 750 third-party service integrations.
Cons
  • Automation is a tad rudimentary. A visual workflow editor and conditions are something I'd like to see.
  • A separate segmentation section would be beneficial.

The Most Important Features of AWeber

AWeber makes sending attractive emails simple. They specialize in email marketing, but they offer a big integration library to link it to your marketing stack. Here are a few of their ingenious features:

  • Drag and drop editor: Click and drag content blocks to create flexible layouts.
  • Email templates: Choose from 600+ designs to get started. All templates are customizable and optimized for desktop and mobile.
  • Smart Designer: Automatically create your own branded templates by pasting in your website’s URL.
  • Canva integration: Use Canva’s intuitive graphic designer for free. Create pro-looking graphics and drop them straight into your email template.
  • Blog broadcasts: Turn your blog into a newsletter and send it automatically using RSS feeds.
  • A/B Split testing: Test up to three versions of the same email to see which gets the best results.
  • Landing page builder: Build unlimited landing pages for your sign-up forms. As a bonus, you can link your Stripe to take payments directly on your pages.
  • Integrations: AWeber connects to more than 750 third-party apps.

Aweber canva

AWeber created the templates, Smart Designer, and Canva integration to make creating on-brand emails a breeze. All of this may be done without ever leaving the program. Small enterprises, artists, and agencies will benefit from it.

AWeber Email Editor

AWeber Email Editor

There are three sorts of email editors available in AWeber. An HTML editor, a drag-and-drop editor, and a plain text editor.

The Plain Text editor is used to create plain-text emails.

The HTML Editor combines two functions into one. The main view is a WYSIWYG editor, which stands for "what you see is what you get." The other option allows you to make changes to the HTML code.

It's great to have these choices. But, let's face it, let's be honest. You'll utilize the Drag-and-Drop Editor the most if you're signing up for a service like AWeber. This is where you can easily alter layouts and add content. People use AWeber to create emails without needing to know how to code.

The editor in AWeber works with Elements, which are preformatted content blocks. Simply click and drag them into place to add them to your template. Editing layouts are simple and versatile because of the way items are organized into rows. The editing experience is comparable to that of expert third-party email editors.

Adding items to your emails is simple with a product block. It's a pre-made element that includes an image, a header for the product name, some text for a description, and a link to the product page.

It's much easier if you have an Etsy shop. After you've set up the integration, all you have to do now is choose whatever product you want to showcase, and AWeber will automatically pull in the image, text, and links for you.

AWeber Autoresponder & Automation Features

AWeber Autoresponder

AWeber was the first company to automate email marketing. It began as a platform for transmitting pre-recorded messages. Autoresponders, as they were dubbed, are a type of autoresponder. AWeber's example has been emulated by dozens of other email marketing businesses. Email automation features continue to improve over time.

In reaction to an action, autoresponders transmit single messages one at a time. So, whenever someone joins your mailing list, you can send them a welcome letter using an autoresponder.

The most recent marketing automation technologies can accomplish a lot more. Instead of sending a single email, you may now send a drip sequence of messages. You can automate sophisticated operations that do more than send emails instead of sending to one person at a time. You can have several triggers instead of a single action.

Campaigns allow for flexibility. Simple one-message auto-responders are simple to make. Alternatively, you might combine many emails into a larger series.

To get you started, AWeber includes 17 pre-made email process templates. Four of them are basic, and they're already in your Aweber account. The Lead Magnet template may be used to deliver a single message or a Mini-Course, which is a series of lesson announcements sent one day apart.

After that, there's the Campaign Marketplace. This is a collection of 13 campaign templates, some of which were inspired by Shopify, Thinkific, and Justuno, among others. They include marketing for sales events, cart abandonments, courses, personalized welcome series, and more.

AWeber Landing Pages & Forms

You may create standalone registration forms for new subscribers with AWeber. You may also construct a landing page that includes a form. In any case, the goal is to increase your subscriber list.

AWeber's landing pages

AWeber's landing pages

Let's begin with landing pages. AWeber provides you with ready-to-use templates. There are 46 options available.

AWeber's landing page layouts are one of my favorites. They're a step up in quality from the email and form templates, in my opinion. The majority are eye-catching, and colorful, and make good use of pictures. They also cover most of the reasons you'd require someone to sign up for anything, such as:

  • Subscriptions to newsletters, blogs, and podcasts
  • Course subscriptions
  • Payment plans
  • Events and webinars
  • Sales and special offers
  • Crowdfunding and donations
  • Consultations and coaching
  • Opt-ins.
AWeber's drag-and-drop landing page builder is identical to its drag-and-drop email builder. It's beneficial to have that consistency, especially if you're new to creating emails and web pages.

The main difference is that you may add other types of content pieces. Forms are one among them. By default, every landing page template includes an in-line form. If you like, you may remove it and replace it with a pop-up form.

There are more layout possibilities and it's easier to move items around than with the form editor. You have greater flexibility when it comes to aligning your form to the overall look and feel of the website.

Zumbalycia, an AWeber customer, produced this landing page. She utilizes this landing page as her company's site, complete with all of the necessary links for individuals interested in attending her lessons. She also provided alternatives for those who aren't yet ready for lessons. They would appreciate the CTA to join her Facebook group and the email sign-up form.

You may also sell using AWeber's landing pages. Create an order form that is linked to the Stripe payment system. People will be able to purchase items or paid memberships straight from your page. They won't have to go someplace else if they don't want to.

The 'Smart Content' aspect is one of my favorites. This imports content from other websites. All you have to do is copy and paste a URL. It may be used for a variety of purposes, including:

  • Facebook posts
  • Google Map locations
  • Shopify product listings
  • Blog RSS feeds

Sign Up Forms

Sign Up Forms

Now it's time to fill out the registration forms. What's more, guess what? Templates once again! In total, I counted 159. Industry and function-specific categories are mixed together.

The majority of the templates are rather simple. However, you have a lot of options for customizing them. Many of the email marketing firms I've tried don't provide many form modification choices. AWeber stands out from the rest of the pack.

The nicest aspect is that you can choose whether each template is an embedded 'in-line' form or a pop-up. In-line forms are forms that appear in the main body of a page. After a visitor spends some time on a page, pop-up forms appear.

These are referred to as 'Pop-Over' forms by AWeber. You can also make a 'Lightbox' form, which works similarly to a 'Pop-Over' form but darkens the rest of the page when it appears. It does provide a 'Pop-Up' option, which opens a form in a new window. It allows you to create exit-intent popups. However, it also informs you that most browsers prohibit certain kinds.

It's extremely great that all of these choices are accessible for every template. For embedded and pop-up forms, most providers use separate templates.

AWeber has a lot of form customization options, which I appreciate. However, I found the Form Editor to be a little cumbersome to use. All of the template thumbnails, for example, are shown horizontally. They disappear off the right-hand side of the page in the larger categories. This, however, did not cause any severe problems.

AWeber offers plugins for major website builders such as WordPress and Squarespace, as well as prominent eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and Wix. These make it very simple to include your forms on your website.

Integrations

Aweber integrations

I've previously mentioned a few of the third-party services that AWeber works with. For example, on Facebook, you may post registration forms and newsletters. Payments can be made using Paypal or Stripe. Including product listings from Etsy or Shopify in your emails.

But this is only the tip of the iceberg. AWeber has more integrations than nearly every other email marketing product I've seen. There are almost 750 of them.

So, what's all the fuss about integrations? There are two significant benefits.

To begin with, they imply that you can connect applications that you already use for marketing. This offers up a lot of possibilities. Use your CRM to add and manage contacts. AWeber integration with eCommerce systems. Without needing to code, you can add forms to your WordPress or Squarespace site.

Second, integrations expand AWeber's capabilities. The email and form builders provided by AWeber are adequate. But maybe you're looking for something more. AWeber integrates with a variety of form and survey tools. Drag-and-drop email and landing page builders are similar.

Other possibilities include:

  • reporting and analytics tools
  • SMS marketing tools
  • CRM platforms
  • event management services
  • video hosting
Connect AWeber to Zapier if the 750 connections aren't enough for you. This will allow for the development of around 4000 applications.

4. ConvertKit

Convertkit

Nathan Barry, a blogger who was searching for a more creator-friendly email marketing solution, developed ConvertKit in 2013.

ConvertKit has grown to power email lists for over 428,000 publishers with a total of 253 million subscribers since then. ConvertKit is mostly used by bloggers and other content providers, and it is less popular among eCommerce and brick-and-mortar businesses.

  • Fewer integrations - Compared to Systeme IO, Convertkit has fewer integration options. Though zapier is available.
  • Less flexible automation - ConvertKit isn't as robust in automation compared to Systeme IO

ConvertKit Features

ConvertKit Features

ConvertKit is a blogger-friendly email marketing platform with a variety of tools for growing and engaging with your email list. In my ConvertKit review, I'll go through the most important features, but here's a quick rundown of everything you get:

Email Editor

The email editor is a crucial element to consider when choosing an email marketing solution. When it comes to growing your email list, you want email blasts and funnel construction to be as simple as possible. Furthermore, having more email layouts and personalization possibilities makes your emails appear less spammy, which encourages your subscribers to read them.

With its email builder, ConvertKit doesn't reinvent the wheel. You may send email "broadcasts" to subscribers, which are one-time communications. ConvertKit has nine email designs, all of which are relatively simple and focus on text content rather than aesthetics.

However, this means that the emails you send using ConvertKit appear to be more personable than sales spam emails. Plain-text emails, according to ConvertKit, perform better than those that are jammed with graphics and video.

ConvertKit Segments And Tags

ConvertKit lets you organize subscribers in two ways:

Tags - Assist in the organization of current subscribers based on prior actions, such as the purchase of a product or the clicking of certain links in your emails.

Segments - This allows you to divide your email list into pieces using one or more tags.

Consider the following scenario: You sell a variety of online courses. ConvertKit allows you to assign a unique tag to subscribers who purchase several courses. You may then establish a section for all previous course customers and sell your most recent course to them. You may also build a category that excludes past-course customers and promote them to non-purchasers in the hopes of persuading them to buy.

Other criteria, such as specific sign-up forms subscribers completed or specific goods subscribers purchased, can be used to create segments. Tags, on the other hand, are the most effective approach to generating new market categories.

Email Marketing Automation

Email Marketing Automation

Email automation is a crucial feature since the more labor you can take off your plate, the more time you'll save and the more visitors and income you'll earn.

ConvertKit doesn't offer as many automation options as ActiveCampaign, but its visual flowchart builder, it makes things simple.

My favorite feature for non-technical users is the pre-built automation templates.

ConvertKit's automation logic allows you to create a collection of triggers, actions, and conditions that determine when and how your automation sequences run.

Triggers

ConvertKit has various choices for triggers, which define when a series starts:
  • Subscribes to a sequence
  • Subscribes to a form
  • Completes a sequence
  • Clicks a link
  • Has a tag added or removed
Actions

When it comes to actions, which is what ConvertKit performs when a trigger triggers, you have a few additional choices:
  • Subscribe or unsubscribe to a sequence
  • Subscribe or unsubscribe to a form
  • Add or remove a tag
  • Set a custom field
If you're new to email marketing, this may seem complex, but that's why ConvertKit's pre-built automation templates are so useful.

ConvertKit has you covered whether you want to design welcome flows for new subscribers, send follow-up emails to customers, or construct simple email sequences.

Conditions

ConvertKit only allows you to add someone to an email marketing automation if they meet the following criteria:
  • Tag added
  • Custom field

5. MailChimp

Mailchimp

What is Mailchimp?

Small companies may use Mailchimp's all-in-one marketing platform to promote smarter and grow quicker. They serve as the foundation for your customer connections, providing AI-powered, user-friendly tools that anybody can utilize to succeed. Mailchimp puts your customers first, allowing you to send marketing emails and automated messages, develop focused ad campaigns, construct landing sites, send postcards, track and analyze data, and sell online.

From neighborhood groups to Fortune 100 enterprises, millions of businesses and individuals rely on Mailchimp to engage with their audience with the right message, at the right time, in the right place. Mailchimp is a privately held company that was founded in 2001 and is situated in Atlanta, Georgia.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • A wide range of capabilities: Mailchimp interfaces with 41 other applications to provide extra services like subscriber management and payment processing.
  • Advanced marketing tools: All premium plans include multi-step customer journeys.
  • Flexible pricing plans: You don't have to jump to a higher pricing tier right away if you're not ready; you may gradually increase your price.

Cons

  • Mailchimp's free plan: is less impressive than those of its competitors.
  • Monthly email send: restrictions are lower than those on similar-priced rivals' plans.
  • Low ease of use score: Getting accustomed to the account dashboard and template editor might be difficult.

What is the purpose of Mailchimp?

Mailchimp is appropriate for every marketer, even if they have no prior expertise with email marketing or email marketing software. Its ease of use, along with a strong focus on analytics and actionable information, makes it a terrific choice for anybody interested in tracking metrics and using data to drive email marketing.

Make an email marketing campaign

Make an email marketing campaign

Mailchimp makes establishing an email campaign simple, and it walks you through all of the processes in advance, making it perfect for beginners. The procedure isn't for everyone because you have to fill in all of the data of your campaign before you can create your email, including subscribers, subject line, and address.

Mailchimp provides you a lot of options and freedom when it comes to email design (shown below). You can select from the following options when creating your email:

  • Basic layouts
  • Layouts targeted at certain campaign types, such as announcements, or product sales
  • Template themes
  • Coding your own from scratch

It's also simple to customize your design (seen below) by adding text blocks, social sharing buttons, videos, and photographs. Everything may be tailored to your brand, from the font to the indents, colors, and tints, and even spell-checking.

One of Mailchimp's standout features, in my opinion, is its commenting area. It lets you send test emails to others and then gathers all of their responses in one place. This improves teamwork and ensures that your emails are error-free.

Mailchimp also has comprehensive A/B testing capabilities, allowing you to test up to three different versions of content, subject line, from the name, and send time on a proportion of your email list or segment, and sending these variations to a percentage of your email list or segment. Because each campaign has its own set of objectives, Mailchimp also allows you to determine the criteria for selecting the winning email. This may be your click or open rate, overall income, or something else entirely.

Automation

Mailchimp automation

You may create automatic processes in Mailchimp based on behavioral triggers like a consumer abandoning a basket or joining up for your email list. You may select from a variety of Mailchimp drip campaign templates, which cover everything from customer acquisition to loyalty and transactional emails and notifications. The following are some of the most specialized and helpful automation templates:

  • Rewarding loyal customers
  • Order notifications
  • Cart or browse abandonment
  • Purchase follow up
  • Win back / customer re-engagement
You may either send a single email or a series of emails for each automation procedure (see below). For instance, you could want to produce a series to re-engage a consumer who hasn't communicated with your business in a long time. You could send one email with new or recommended items, and if they don't answer, you could follow up with a discount. Finally, if they haven't answered, you may send them an email notifying them that they have been removed from your list. You can set this up in Mailchimp so that everything happens automatically at certain intervals and you don't have to do anything.

The advantages of utilizing Mailchimp

With Mailchimp's powerful email marketing capability, you can quickly target the appropriate consumers at the right time with the right content, thanks to its ease of use, well-organized navigation, and well-designed user interface. Its detailed reporting capabilities provide you with essential information about consumer behavior so you can develop campaigns that produce more opens and clicks and, as a result, more income.

The new Client Journey Builder and Dynamic Content capabilities in Mailchimp allow you to adapt your message to specific receivers without putting in a lot of extra effort, increasing the chances of converting someone on your email list into a paying customer.

Pricing for Mailchimp

Mailchimp offers a free plan as well as three different premium packages. You can send up to 10,000 emails each month on the free plan (so you could send five emails to a list of 2,000 people). If you have less than 2,000 connections and only need basic contact management, templates, and email and landing page generation, the free plan will suffice. You may send up to 500,000 emails each month on the Essentials Plan, compared to 1.2 million on the Standard Plan and nearly 3 million on the Premium Plan.
